My first visit at Roxor was unforgetable. Ever since, I compared every burger I had with the one in Roxor. Today I had a chance to come in and enjoy the goodness of their kitchen. If you’ll be looking for them, you can find them on the address Vysoká 28, near Nová Scéna Theater.

On the first sight, the burger seems magnificent, (unfortunately, the crispy bacon is hidden in that glorious special Roxor sauce) and on the first bite, you realize that your eyes weren’t lying. For just 7€, you can get, what I think is, the best burger in Bratislava. The competition is naturally quite strong, but overall, Roxor wins.

9 months mature cheddar cheese, homemade pickles, grilled onions, special Roxor sauce and meat, which can be made just how you like it (from rare to very well – medium is recommended) and tomatoes. This simple combination can make a perfection between those homemade buns.

 Roxor offers a 6€ version of the burger as well, excluding the bacon. You can also try their special burgers, which can varies on the season you come in. Right now, the specials are Guacamole special and Beer special with beer&vinegar infused pickles, 15 months matured cheddar cheese and french mustard.

Double-fried french fries (1,6€, with special Roxor dip or curry-pineapple dip) compliment the burger like grapes and cheese. You can choose from two types – with paprika or oregano, if I’m not mistaken. Either ones you choose, you won’t regret it.

After all that food, you should wash it all down with a good drink, I chose the homemade lemonade (1,6€ for 0,5l), which is great as everything there. Tea, beer or liquor is also available.

I know I’m beeing very enthusiastic and not saying one bad word, but there is none to say, really. Even the waitress makes your meal better, with her cheerful attitude.

Should I rate it, 11/10 would be appropriate.
